About Supportive Housing
Our Supportive Housing Program serves 25 families. This housing is partially subsidized by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
Referrals for this program come from a coordinated intake process facilitated by Allegheny Link (1-866-730-2368). Families are referred to us who are street or chronically homeless, and a member of their household has a disability.
Since accepting the first family experiencing homelessness, we have served 525 families, including 597 adults and 1006 children. In 2023, 31 families were served, including 101 residents (40 Adults and 61 Children). Sisters Place provides comprehensive case management, early intervention child development, overall wellness, harm-reduction tools, substance use disorder support, informal mental health support, household management education, housing navigation, and a caring connection and follow-up for other resources families need.
