Open to the community: Monday-Friday 10 am – 2 pm
Staff provides informal mental health support and listens to individuals’ needs and concerns. Acute and short-term services are provided, and the connection is made to social service resources in the Greater Pittsburgh Area to meet specific needs. Sisters Place refers to organizations specializing in intimate partner violence, sexual assault, trauma, mental health, substance use, and reentry to the workforce. Intake and assessment ensure individuals have access to basic needs such as food, clothing, and shelter. We are privileged to be in a city rich in nonprofit resources. View some of these collaborative organizations here.
Additionally, community members can access Sisters Place group sessions, including wellness, healthy housekeeping, life skills, etc., and earn Sisters Place Bucks as a part of our Incentive Based Program. All participants can earn Sisters Place Bucks to spend in The Loft at Sisters Place, which is full of brand-new donated items for homes and families. View our Community Calendar.
